Fact: Carrie Bradshaw is my fashion muse. I’m completely obsessed with her styling. Where do you think my love for mixing patterns, styles and colors comes from? And that whole thing with her being a writer…another thing we both have in common.
So, as I bring you fashion inspiration here and on my Insta feed, it got me pondering about what Carrie might be wearing if she were in quarantine. Hmm, based on what she wore, it would probably be original, creative, laissez-faire – but most of all, fun!
Let’s look at some of her looks from Sex in the City and see how she can inspire us during this confinement time.
Let’s start by rummaging in our own closets. Ahh we should all look at our wardrobes in such an endearing way- just look at her whole demeanour!
And trying on some of your clothes and just dress up for the fun of it!
And maybe doing some unboxing of things you haven’t had a chance to wear yet!
Choosing the right fresh looks that are both invigorating and yet still laid back- like this cutesy shirt outfit!
Putting your feet up to relax while still upholding a bit a glam…maybe sipping something cool…confinement at its best!
Or maybe a cutesy Tee with motif pants just for hanging out and chit chatting on the phone, catching up with people you miss seeing.
But a girl’s gotta work- and that doesn’t mean staying in your pj’s just because you’re working from home…unless that’s your statement for the day. Check out all these cute looks Carrie wears while hammering away at her laptop…

The kimono look is my quarantine style! I would loved a chic look, but with a 20 month old baby boy….it’s kinda hard.
