The Thrifty Six in Jumpsuits and Rompers!

You all know how animal print is always my print of preference- so how could I resist this cutest of jumpsuits? I purchased it from La Retro Girl Vintage who has some of the best vintage collections ever. I love the sailor back collar with the sweet fringe detail.

It zips up at the front and has a cute round button for security and a touch of sweetness!

Love that I matched the ring. And sorry for the soon-to-get-done- vacay nails!

But what I think I love most about this jumpsuit is how ample and freeing this style is!

I prefer wearing it with flats- loving these glitzy gold sandals with it. You could though, also wear it more dressy if you change the shoes to platforms, slingbacks or even a kitty heel. And of course, why not add a belt to change it up! This will change the style completely- adding more versatility to its wear.

Do you love jumpsuits? What do you think? Let me know in your comments.

Now let’s go check out what my Thrifty Six Sisters styled up!

“I found this jumpsuit in a charity shop a while back for only £6! It fits perfectly and is so comfortable. I’ve featured it on the blog a couple of times before…well, repeating outfits is thrifty after all! For a bold colour contrast I’ve teamed it with a green vegan leather bag and jacket, plus a green bangle that I also bought in a charity shop.”

Grace of Graceful Rags

“I chose jumpsuits as this month’s thrifty theme a while back, I imagine with a particular outfit in mind… But by the time I actually went to photograph a look, I had no idea why I chose this theme! I ended up restyling this scarlet jumpsuit that I wore for our monochrome thrifty post a few months ago. I dressed it down to transition it into fall, pairing it with a denim jacket, flat sandals, and a fun leopard belt.”

Jane of Preloved-Vintage-Handmade

“Rompers are the theme this August for the Thrifty Six…

…I’m romping through the enchanted forest in the magical morning light.

Sunrays cast arcs in shades of neon chartreuse…

…I add a dreamlike ambience with my fairy bubbles.

I wear my super swishy, soft and sensational slouch suit – it’s the rompiest romper I’ve ever seen!”

Nancy of Nancy’s Fashion Style

“So I had been looking for the perfect jumpsuit for a few seasons. And couldn’t find anything. And then you are “forced” to quickly find one, because Grace chose it as our theme, and then it turns out to be the perfect one! The color is beautiful, the legs are tapered and cropped, I like that, good sleeve length, the waist in the correct place. Everything about this jumpsuit is just right for me. And it’s also like new! It’s a beautiful shade of green, dark olive green, and that colour combines so perfectly with pink. But I could not resist adding a bit of gold too! Thanks Grace! Because I wouldn’t have bought this one without you!”

Shelbee of Shelbee on the Edge

“I only have one jumpsuit in my wardrobe and thankfully it was thrifted! It’s white eyelet by Zara and I paired it with my preloved polka dot kimono in minty green with coordinating sandals and belt. My green beaded owl necklace is handmade and was gifted to me by Michelle of My Bijou Life. This is the third time I have styled this jumpsuit and it is proving to be much more versatile than I expected.”

  1. I love leopard, so I am on board for this amazing jumpsuit, Lucy! I wonder though…do you have it on backwards? It is unusual for a vintage jumpsuit to have back detail like that triangle and tassel, and most vintage jumpsuits zip up the back.

    1. Hi Sheila, it was shown to be worn this way, with the tassel in back. But you’re right, I wasn’t sure either so I did try it on the other way. It kind of worked but something off around the crotch area, so I wear it this way! Thanks babe xx

  2. Oh, what a great jumpsuit, Lucy! I love this easy loose style paired with your gorgeous gold flat sandals. I would love to see this belted and styled dressier, too. It really is a fabulous piece. And how amazing is your matching ring! This is all so, so good!
