Style of the Week…

FASHIONABLE FRIDAY is here plus a LINKUP!

Monday started out with a chic-casual travel look. There’s nothing more comfy than a long cardigan for travel. This time around, for my flight back from Florida to Montreal, I actually sat in my seat with the sweater worn back-to-front to get a ‘blanket’ effect- super warm and cozy! But of course comfy is not quite enough when it comes to styling; there’s got to be something sharp about it as well. This Jessica Simpson cardigan sure has it all!

Here’s the reel I put up on Insta (of course it won’t let me save it with the music (they’re so territorial!)

Change of temperature in Montreal calls for layering once again! I pulled up my black sweat joggers- and I wore a long sleeved sheer mesh top over yet another mesh top, that’s short sleeved. I finished the look with a silver belt bag and silver platform sneakers.

Here’s the quick process if you’d like to see it step by step (a little over 30 secs.)

And- keeping the best for last…Here’s a delicious Eva Varro dress! I find it spectacular. Loving this floral-vine print on black. I can see myself wearing this dress right through autumn, winter and spring- all I have to do is layer it over a turtleneck or mesh top (which you know are my staple tops). It’s glamorous but super comfy. I feel amazing in it.

Stay tuned…I have more Eva Varro to show you in the next weeks to come.

  1. That Eva Varro dress is amazing! Pinned. And look ar your arm definition! Love the long cardigan too. Perfect companion on a long flight. Enjoy the weekend x

    1. Thank you Michelle, I love these pieces too! And thank you for asking about my Florida home- you’re the sweetest:) So, it looks like the East side was not really affected except for heavy rains- we were very lucky our condo was safe. As for myself, I left a day earlier as planned on my itinerary. But I was very worried when I left about what could happen. It’s devastating what happened to many others living on the other side of me- tragic. Thank you my friend xx

  2. That dress is a stunner, Lucy! I can’t wait to see more by her. I also wear my cardigans backwards as blankets, and my bathrobe on top of me in bed with my arms in for reading!

Thanks so much for the link-party!
