The weather is still crazy here in Montreal. Which basically means, you never know what to wear. You can’t plan on any outfit until the minute you’re ready to walk out the door. This week’s looks ranged from flowy maxi dresses to layering under a leather blazer- and you know how much I love my blazers! But I guess that until the weather settles, we’ll be playing heads or tails when choosing our outfits.
Also for this week’s looks, wearing flats was the way to go. I don’t know about you, but I’m all about sneakers and ballet flats this Spring. I think the key with ballet shoes is getting them in a metallic; gold or silver- just because they work with everything. As for sneakers- the louder the better- are you with me on this? So, for me it was gold ballet slippers, and sneakers in black one day- and leopard the next.
For the first look: This look started off with a tee and jeans. I added a cropped jean jacket under a vintage leather blazer. And of course, animal print for belt and sneakers. Topped off the look with a belt bag worn crossbody.
Second look: Could no longer wait for summer to wear this sleeveless dreamy sheer dress. So, I layered it over a crisp white shirt and loved the result! The sneakers make the look more casual- but fun.
Third look: A flowy long dress is always irresistible to me- especially when it’s a floral. My gold ballerinas give it a touch of elegance without overstating.

The vibe for this week’s looks varies in style- but one thing was constant whether I dressed light, bright, or layered: comfort was key. All of these are great additions for my style diary I’ll certainly be repeating these outfits quite regularly. Which look is your favourite?
I’ve picked a variety of similar styles for you to choose from- take a look.
Enjoy your day my Lovies,
Bisous, Lucy xo

I love all of your looks, Lucy, but my favourite is the “everything” ensemble. I am a fan of layers. Ballet flats kill my feet, unfortunately, but yours are tres chic!
Aww thanks so much Sheila!
