September’s Slow Fashion Movement & a Linkup Party

RESUME AUDIO EN FRANCAIS

French Audio Summary

Here comes the weekend with a short and sweet Fashionable Friday & a Linkup party! This week’s looks were all about conscientious styling and keeping cool in Southern weather. What better time than to style this Missoni-vibe dress; concept, design and creation all from Greece (shop locally made when travelling!)- in full length this time for you to see the complete look.

I’m also enjoying a silky, breezy baby doll dress (saved this one from ending up in a landfill).

September is big on Slow Fashion- we can all participate in our own way- every little bit counts.

  1. What lovely dresses, Lucy! I am trying to shop my closet more and more! And, when I donate, I’m trying to do so while thinking of what could happen to my donations. I hope that makes sense. In other words, I’m trying to donate to places where my clothing won’t end up in landfills. Thanks for the link party!

  2. Love the Missoni inspired dress and good to hear it was designed and created in Greece. In the UK we have “Secondhand September” sponsored by a charity which has shops, and we try not to buy anything new. Enjoy the weekend x

  3. First of all, I love September’s Slow Fashion Movement! I am just working on my Thrifty Six post for Monday! I recently saved a few spectacular wardrobe items from the landfill along with a super cool, very large, vintage floor vase for my newly redecorated dining room! You know how much I love my thrifting adventures! Both of your dresses are so pretty and both look fabulous on you, my friend! I hope you have a lovely weekend.

  4. Both the maxi dress and the baby-doll dress are gorgeous, and you look fabulous wearing them! I agree with you about shopping locally while traveling. I always pick up some locally made jewelry and clothing at boutique shops when I’m out of the country.
Thank you for participating in Talent-Sharing Tuesdays Link-Up 33.
