RESUME AUDIO EN FRANCAIS
Here comes the weekend with a short and sweet Fashionable Friday & a Linkup party! This week’s looks were all about conscientious styling and keeping cool in Southern weather. What better time than to style this Missoni-vibe dress; concept, design and creation all from Greece (shop locally made when travelling!)- in full length this time for you to see the complete look.
I’m also enjoying a silky, breezy baby doll dress (saved this one from ending up in a landfill).
September is big on Slow Fashion- we can all participate in our own way- every little bit counts.
Check out September’s Slow Fashion Movement:
Onto our Linkup! Please come link up your blog posts and share your news with us all!

That maxi dress is stunning on you! I love the short dress to though!
Yes the short one is super fun- thanks Laura!
You look fabulous in that maxi dress, Lucy. And thank you for the reminder about secondhand September. Although I haven’t stuck with it, the reminder is important.

Yes every bit counts! Thanks Rena! xx
What lovely dresses, Lucy! I am trying to shop my closet more and more! And, when I donate, I’m trying to do so while thinking of what could happen to my donations. I hope that makes sense. In other words, I’m trying to donate to places where my clothing won’t end up in landfills. Thanks for the link party!

That is super conscientious Marsha. We must absolutely take that into consideration! Thanks, have a great weekend!
I love that print! I still haven’t bought a thing this month so I’m very conscious. Wonder how long i can keep that up.
Oh my you are doing terrific! Yay Nancy!
Love the Missoni inspired dress and good to hear it was designed and created in Greece. In the UK we have “Secondhand September” sponsored by a charity which has shops, and we try not to buy anything new. Enjoy the weekend x
Yes you have such a great movement In the UK! Thanks Gail- Enjoy your weekend too xx
First of all, I love September’s Slow Fashion Movement! I am just working on my Thrifty Six post for Monday! I recently saved a few spectacular wardrobe items from the landfill along with a super cool, very large, vintage floor vase for my newly redecorated dining room! You know how much I love my thrifting adventures! Both of your dresses are so pretty and both look fabulous on you, my friend! I hope you have a lovely weekend.
Shelbee
Oh Shelbee this all w=sounds wonderful and can’t wait for you to share about this!! Thanks! Have a great weekend as well xx
Those are both such pretty dresses. Thank you for the party.
Thank you so much Amy! Have a lovely weekend!
Both the maxi dress and the baby-doll dress are gorgeous, and you look fabulous wearing them! I agree with you about shopping locally while traveling. I always pick up some locally made jewelry and clothing at boutique shops when I’m out of the country.
Thank you for participating in Talent-Sharing Tuesdays Link-Up 33.

Thanks so much Carol- shopping locally is so important, I agree with you! And I’m loving your linkup:)
Both of these dresses are fabulous on you but my favorite is the maxi! Enjoy your weekend!
Jill – Doused in Pink
Thank you Jill, enjoy yours as well:)
I am all about slow fashion! Love the outfits you shared, Lucy! The thing I’m finding is when you shop second hand online or in person, there is a much greater variety of styles to choose from than a dept store that is showing only what’s on trend.

You’re absolutely on point Michelle- originality is in the thrift!
Love both dresses and the maxi speaks to me with its colors. Looks sensational on you! I do alot of my shopping on Poshmark, enjoy getting secondhand and browsing there as well.
jess xx
I’m on the same page Jess! Hope you are feeling much better xx
I follow Alyssa Beltempo on YouTube and she is all about Slow Fashion. I am hoping to get on board with it too and I’m working on being much more intentional in my shopping.
