One of my favourite go-to outfits always involves some sort of t-shirt- and if it comes with a great pic on it, even better! I do prefer tees with a fun slogan or with a print of my top music bands. I find them super cool. But- It’s too bad that in most cases when it comes to styling graphic tees, people usually relegate them to casual or frumpy wear looks. Doesn’t have to be so! I’m here with some tips for styling graphic tees that will take your look to another level.
Quick & Easy Tips for Styling Graphic Tees
- 1) Let’s start by taking your basic tee & jeans look, up a notch: Bring basic-casual, to elegant-chic just by switching to heels instead of flats. Even better if your pumps, platforms, or stilettos come in an unexpected pop of colour.
- 2) Try juxtaposing the low with the high to get an edgy look: Do this by pairing a sequin pant- or skirt- with a graphic tee for a no-effort- ootd. This could also be a graphic tee with a silk bottom as well. Then add your favourite runners or boots and you’ve turned your look into an original laissez-faire style.
- 3) Wanna look put together without getting out of your jeans and t-shirt? Layer a cool blazer over that tee, and off you go- wind in the hair! A great blazer just pulls the whole look together- trust me!
- 4) Why not vibe with that Heavy Metal tee you love so much, by styling it up with a great pair of leather (pleather) pants, leggings, shorts, or skirt? Bring out that rocker chick that’s dying to come out!
- 5) For another high-low idea, try mixing the rough and tough with some ultra feminine (Love this!). Think of mix-matching a graphic tee with a lace or tulle skirt. Opposites attract (and look so good together). Once in awhile it’s fun to spice up and surprise- so get daring!

The Best Thing About Styling Graphic Tees
As you and I know, in fashion, trends come and go. So it’s great when a comfortable basic has lived the test of time to never go out of style- and that right there, is our beloved T-shirt! In time this perfect piece not only becomes more comfy, but also more stylish as it naturally earns the vintage title (just think about those rare rock band t-shirts on Ebay). So my ladies, enjoy and wear your comfy t-tops to death! Styling graphic tees has always felt chic, cool an timeless; back then, now, and I’m betting on, forever. Never out of style.
